CONTEXT

CraftOnline is Australia’s largest online craft store stocking over 60,000 SKU’s. When CraftOnline engaged LION they had a problem that is common for many businesses at the level that craft operates. Previously, they had invested in a specialist SEO agency with dated and rigid practices who had poor communication skills, which left CraftOnline to blindly trust the agency for several years hoping for results and a positive ROI. The lack of transparency and poor communication was a hurdle in working towards a common goal, which lead to poor organic search results.

WHAT WE DID

LION established a clear line of communication and worked with the client to determine goals. We split the goals into short-term and long-term plans. LION carried out a detailed total-market research, which not only determined the level of competition that the business will be targeting but also helped CraftOnline to assess their stock orders and new products based on the market demand.
