ABOUT THE ROLE

LION is launching a new, standalone recruitment venture - and we’re looking for a commercially driven Talent Specialist to join us as a Founder & Equity Partner.

This is a rare opportunity to do what you do best; own the commercial growth of a business while leveraging LION’s brand, infrastructure, and client network. This is primarily a relationship, business development-driven, outbound role - you’ll focus on building relationships, winning new business, and driving revenue while we provide the operational backbone, marketing, and support so you can focus on what you do best: growing a high-performance recruitment business.

You’ll be at the forefront of outbound activity, engaging directly with decision-makers across the digital, tech, and commercial sectors, building long-term partnerships that fuel consistent growth. In return, you’ll have a stake in the business and the freedom to shape its strategy and future.

What You'll Do

  • Lead proactive outbound business development efforts to identify, engage, and convert new client opportunities.
  • Act as a consultative partner to internal teams and external clients on hiring needs
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for niche and high-volume roles.
  • Drive and optimise the end-to-end recruitment process, from strategy and sourcing to screening, interviewing, and closing.
  • Set up and manage operational recruitment infrastructure, including ATS, reporting, and compliance.
  • Collaborate on employer branding and talent marketing strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally to enhance hiring outcomes and continuously improve candidate and stakeholder experience.

What You Bring

  • An AI first approach
  • 10+ years of full-cycle recruitment, talent acquisition, or people leadership experience
  • Proven track record building recruitment capability and delivering across a range of seniority levels and role types
  • Strong sourcing skills and deep knowledge of digital recruitment tools, platforms, and outreach strategies
  • Ability to deliver on both volume and niche hiring briefs
  • Operational mindset with the ability to set up scalable processes and frameworks from scratch
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work autonomously while building a new venture
