Google Analytics Specialist
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a Google Analytics Specialist. The GA Specialist will act as the technical liaison for our web analytics administration, implementation, and strategy. The individual will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to oversee the design, integration, development, and validation of Analytics data for our Google Analytics/Google 360 platform.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the charge on migration to Google Analytics 4, required eCommerce tagging and associated feature activation
- Administration of analytics accounts, dashboards, and reports.
- Maintain and ensure proper implementation of cross-platform and cross-device Digital Analytics tooling.
- Administer Google tag management.
- Provide data and insights for dashboards and reports for various business areas to help measure business performance and customer engagement.
- Establish standard process, procedure, and governance to; onboard, set up, maintain and track data for reach, engagement, performance, and other metrics for digital properties.
- Analyze audience reach, engagement, and behavior metrics to avoid fragmentation of different business units needs and use cases.
- Analyze available data to identify and quantify customer behavior and translate this into recommendations for traffic generation, marketing, merchandising content, and customer service.
- Support diverse stakeholders by generating custom reports according to business needs.
- Work with developers and digital producers to determine appropriate metrics and behavior to track new and existing accounts.
- Identify areas of inefficiency and develop methods for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of working with Google Analytics (GA and UA) and familiarity with the GA360 suite
- Hands-on experience with Tag Manager, GA Admin, Audience Center, and Data Studio.
- The integration of Web services via Rest API
- The production process for digital products.
- Queries, dimensions, and cross schema reporting
- AppFigures, Flurry, and other Analytics tools are a plus
- Other dashboard reporting tools are a plus. Ex: Tableau
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- HTM/HTML5 /CSS/Java Script.
- Back-end languages (Python, PHP, etc.)
- Migrating tags from existing properties (GA) to Tag Manager/Google Analytics 360.
- SEO, A/B testing platform (Optimizely).
- CRM software and email marketing optimization.
- CMS platforms including Drupal and WordPress.
- Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
- MySQL
- BigQuery
- Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration, but also ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to Detail.
- A critical thinker with an aptitude to isolate and fix technical issues related to the flow of data.
