About this role

LION Digital is looking for an action-driven Head of SEM with experience in eCommerce to lead our team of eCommerce experts. We are looking for someone passionate about data analysis, working with mid to large retailers and brands, generating huge ROIs, and delivering quality results to all of our clients.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Ongoing management and optimisation of campaigns;
  • You are able to prepare and present timely reports with effective recommendations on results and suggestions for further organic optimisation;
  • Develop and deliver data-driven PPC strategies;
  • Actively seek and perform work, new approaches and elevate the team to higher standards;
  • Mentor individual team members, so they can meet and exceed expectations, ensure that team members understand their duties and responsibilities;
  • Working closely with clients to develop strategies and solutions to any technical challenges;
  • Explore innovative ways to improve our services - stay on top of emerging technologies, digital trends and opportunities.
  • Take ownership of the entire SEM channel, reducing client attrition and increase clients spend on agency retainer

What we are looking for:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in SEM, preferably as a Senior SEM Manager or in a similar role;
  • Agency experience is required;
  • Passionate about data, analytics, reporting (ability to assess complex data, interpret and analyse raw data);
  • Knowledge of digital web analytics tools (Google Analytics, AdWords, etc.);
  • Experience with different CMS platforms (Magento, Shopify, etc.);
  • Able to multitask across multiple projects brands with superior time management skills;
  • Experience of mentoring and leading a team;
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, analytical skills, perfect verbal/written communication, project management, and high level of attention to detail;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and adjust priorities to meet specific deadlines;
