Senior Web Developer
We’re looking for a Senior Web Developer who would enjoy a hands-on development role, while working with some of Australia’s leading ecommerce brands and a great team of professionals. The person we are seeking is an innovative, tech-minded and solutions-oriented developer with solid knowledge of web technologies and frameworks, combined with project delivery or implementation skills, and the ability to work closely with a team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in creating, updating, migrating and improving websites.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop custom CMS websites, e-commerce solutions, and API integrations.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and goals.
- Develop and implement digital strategies to grow business and increase revenue.
- Optimise websites for SEO and improve traffic and conversions.
- Lead technical strategies and efforts across key businesses
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues
- Perform systems and data-related performance analytics
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of related work experience
- Experience in multiple CMS and eCommerce platforms including Shopify, WordPress and Neto
- Expert knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript
- Strong understanding of SEO and current best practices
- Ability to integrate with backend systems (JSON/XML/Ajax/ REST APIs)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
