DASH OffRoad is an Australian-owned business, offering high-quality 4WD upgrade products to make the off-road adventures even more fun. Beyond that, DASH OffRoad has built a thriving community through events and social media, fostering newcomers into the 4WD lifestyle and providing local solutions for Australian enthusiasts.

Ultimately, DASH OffRoad is a large off-road accessories brand with a solid customer base, but they wanted to expand their offering to a wider audience and gain greater market traction. That’s why they partnered with LION Digital under the LION Promise. We forecasted and guaranteed a 5x ROAS, but outperformed it immediately, delivering 16.77x ROAS in 60 days.

THE CHALLENGE

DASH OffRoad had never used Google Ads or Klaviyo before, so we started with a blank slate. Building campaigns from scratch, without historical data, we had no performance benchmarks to guide optimisation. We had to analyse their other channels to identify which products convert best and which audience segments may respond strongest to SEM. Every decision required careful planning and strategic testing.

The lack of existing campaign infrastructure required us to create everything: conversion tracking, audience segments, keyword strategies, and campaign structures. To do so, we needed to closely collaborate with the DASH OffRoad team to understand their product catalogue and customer preferences.

WHAT WE DID

We began by identifying the top-selling DASH OffRoad products by vehicle make and model and understanding which combinations drove the highest demand. We mapped out their bundle offerings and monitored product availability to ensure campaigns promoted in-stock items.

Our campaign strategy targeted multiple customer segments:

  • We built specific campaigns around popular vehicle makes and models, capturing high-intent shoppers searching for compatible products.
  • We created dedicated campaigns for product bundles, which offered higher average order values.
  • We implemented brand protection campaigns to capture customers specifically searching for DASH OffRoad.
  • And we deployed a segmented retargeting strategy designed to re-engage website visitors and drive conversions.

Each campaign was tailored to specific customer behaviours and purchase intent levels, ensuring relevant messaging throughout the customer journey.

RESULTS

LION Digital exceeded the promised 5x ROAS by over three times.

Between October and November 2025, DASH OffRoad achieved exceptional performance from Google Ads. October delivered 16.77x ROAS, and November achieved even higher results with 23.20x ROAS. The month-on-month growth reached 181%, accomplished with a modest 33% increase in spend to capitalise on Black Friday opportunities.

The average order value remained high throughout the campaign period, with a 13.9% growth in November. Revenue grew by over 98% between October and November, demonstrating the effectiveness of our targeted approach.

Overall, starting from zero point, LION Digital built a high-performing SEM foundation that not only met but dramatically exceeded expectations. Our strategic campaign planning and close client collaboration delivered exceptional outcomes within a short period. Looking forward, we plan to build on those results by implementing a strong optimisation strategy and testing new flows and marketing channels.
