CONTEXT
Ledlenser is one of the world’s market leaders in LED flashlights and headlamps. LION manages the Ledlenser brand in 6 countries across 3 different business entities. When we started SEO works for the Ledlenser brand in the United Kingdom, the website was just launched, but the content was not targeted towards this specific market. The goal was to ensure on-site optimisation and country targeted content to improve organic performance in the UK market before the peak seasonal period of September – December.
WHAT WE DID
In order to analyse the current conditions and understand how to improve performance and plan the subsequent work, full site architecture analysis, market research, organic visibility, competitor analysis, user behaviour and eCommerce trends research were conducted.
Our learnings were implemented, creating a brand new site structure and information architecture on the Shopify website. This ensured a balance between organic requirements and user experience.Â
LION Digital carried out all of the technical SEO and development aspects required for the migration project in-house, using our expert Shopify knowledge and specialist development team. The next step was mapping out all pages to the most valuable keyword, creating new SEO URL structures and implementing efficient 301 redirects across the site.Â
SEO best practice requirements were carried out to ensure the new website URLs were crawled and indexed by Google.Â
A content strategy was then put in place to optimise all metadata content based on our UK market keyword research; on-page content was also rewritten by our in-house content team to target keywords and improve user experience.Â
By understanding UK market user behaviour, we were able to update the website to rank for relevant terms and offer a better, more targeted experience for Ledlenser customers.
RESULTS
After a month, the following results were achieved:
- Organic Revenue increased by 213% YoY, and by 60% MoM
- Organic sessions grew by 27.7% YoY and by 53.2% MoM
- Conversion Rate increased by 196% YoY
- Organic Transactions grew by 278.6% YoY and by 23.3% MoM
- Average order value increased by 29.9% MoM
- Average ranking position achieved 9.7 in the three months.
Ledlenser UK extended the partnership with LION by adding the SEM, Social & Email channels in the framework of the “Black Friday & Cyber Monday” Product.
